For this project, I was tasked with creating a fictional festival and designing a mobile experience for it. Attending a festival can be overwhelming, so I felt that visitors would benefit from a single, easy-to-use tool to navigate and plan their experience.
I started by defining the festival’s identity, centering it on celebrating and platforming women in film. The project brief highlighted key features to prioritize, like easy access to festival information, ticketing, event details, and scheduling.

Wireframes
Wireframes
Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, I mapped out the app’s main screens and navigation before refining them into high-fidelity designs.
We created several low-fidelity wireframe iterations for initial testing before moving on to our high-fidelity designs.

Testing with users
Testing with users
I held multiple interviews with users to collect feedback on my design. Their insights highlighted areas where the design could be more intuitive and better aligned with user expectations.

Users felt the quiz feedback wasn’t clear enough. They want to be able to review answers and detailed feedback.
Users weren’t sure how to save events. They suggested using a more familiar icon (like a bookmark) and making the option more visible.
Users felt the cards used in the design were hard to read and interact with, asking for larger, more accessible sizing.
Users found the site plain, recommending more text and detail to improve clarity and engagement.
